Ancient Roman city planning commonly featured two main thoroughfares: the Cardo Decumanus, or Dorsal Axis and the Cardo Maximus, or lateral axis. The Cardo served as the nucleus of the city's economic life. Today, Cardo Medical is a medical device manufacturer that aims to serve as the nucleus between orthopedic surgeons striving for cutting edge solutions and engineers who are passionately committed to providing these solutions.  Cardo Medical is comprised of Cardo Orthopedics and Cardo Spine divisions.
